Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium sliding barn door hardware and installation.
What is included in a standard barn door hardware kit?
Our standard kits include everything you need for installation except the door itself: the steel track, spacers, two rollers/hangers, door stoppers, an anti-jump disk, and a floor guide. All necessary mounting bolts and screws are also included.
How do I determine what track length I need for my opening?
As a general rule, your track should be at least double the width of your door. For example, a 36-inch wide door requires a minimum of a 72-inch (6-foot) track to ensure the door can fully clear the opening when slid open.
What is your shipping policy for oversized items?
We offer free ground shipping on all orders over $99 within the contiguous United States. Tracks over 8 feet may be shipped in two pieces with a heavy-duty connector to ensure safe transit and reduce shipping costs.
Can your hardware be used for outdoor installations?
While our standard powder-coated steel is highly durable, we recommend our specialized Stainless Steel or Weather-Resistant lines for outdoor applications to prevent rust and corrosion caused by exposure to the elements.
What is your return policy if the hardware doesn't fit my space?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all uninstalled hardware in its original packaging. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs on oversized items, and a restocking fee may apply.
What weight capacity can your barn door tracks support?
Our standard heavy-duty tracks are rated to support up to 220 lbs. For exceptionally heavy solid wood or metal doors, we offer industrial-grade series that can support up to 450 lbs.
